Sold! Animal Nutrition Manufacturer Buys Rotosolver

An Admix customer, an animal nutrition manufacturer, wanted a new hygienic high shear mixer for a new application. They have an Admix Rotostat high shear mixer from 28 years ago which still works great, but our Rotosolver interested them because its high shear head has no moving parts, making it easier to clean and maintain.

Our authorized representative conducted an onsite Rotosolver mixer demo right at the producer’s plant, made possible by our 5-gallon/20-liter portable demo unit. A 10-liter test was run with their powder ingredients with tremendous success. They were able to see first-hand how fast the powders were dispersed and 100% homogenous. It took just a few minutes. Following the test, the customer commented, “Well, I’m sold!”

Next, between our representative and our technical team at Admix, a scaled-up production size Rotosolver mixer was selected, and the geometry for a new 150-gallon tank was designed. Tank geometry and mixer placement were important as the product, additives for microbial animal nutrition, was prone to foaming.
